EDI Viewer - FMT Cost Center Maintenance


The FMT Cost Center Maintenance window is used to create a cross reference to your financial system. The fields on the window may vary depending on which financial system you are using. All cost centers are linked to a company you have defined.

To see the wells and cost centers on this window, select the Tax Year and Company at the top left of the window and click the Retrieve button on the toolbar.

   
To find a Cost Center:
  • enter the full or partial cost center into the Cost Center search bar at the top of the window and click the Find button. If the Cost Center, the row will be highlited. If the Cost Center is not found, a message will be displayed.
  • Clicking the Find button again will find the next Cost Center starting from the row you are on.
  • To start the find from the first row, you must scroll to row 1 and click on row 1 so the red arrow to the left of the row points to row 1.
 

 

 

To enter or update Cost Center data:

  • enter or change the cost center and any other data you may need in the editable fields (which are usually white).
  • click the Save button the on toolbar when you are done to save your changes.
  • use the Copy a Row button to create a new Effective Date row for the well you are currently on.
  • the Import button can be used to update your cost centers directly from your financial system. Please contact us if you want to do this.

You can add (Copy a Row) or delete rows here but when you click Retrieve, all wells not on this cost center window for this company will be added to this window.

To Sort, click on the headings. To sort by Well, click on the Well heading and the wells will be sorted by Well in ascending order. Clicking on the Well again will sort the wells in descending order. This can be done for any column by clicking on the heading.

Clicking on the Sort toolbar button gives you the option to sort by multiple columns at once.

 
To Print, click the Print toolbar button or choose Print from the File menu.
