EDI Viewer - Owner / Lessee Maintenance


The Owner / Lessee Maintenance window is used to edit and enter address information for all Owners and Lessees.

 
   
To add a new Owner / Lessee, you can the following:
  • Right-click your mouse to get a popup menu and choose add or insert.
  • Press the shortcut keys, CRTL and A (add).
  • Click the edit menu at the top of the screen and then choose add or insert.
To delete a Owner / Lessee, click on the Owner / Lessee and do any one of the following:
  • Right-click your mouse to get a popup menu and choose delete.
  • Press the shortcut keys, CRTL and D.
  • Click the edit menu at the top of the screen and then choose delete.
  • Owner / Lessee cannot  be deleted if linked to an entity or invoice.
Business Rules:
  • To see only lessees, click the Lessee radio button beside the tax year.
  • To see only owners, click the Owner radio button beside the tax year.
  • To see everyone, click the All radio button beside the tax year.
  • For a lessee to be used on the Entity Maintenance window, the Lessee check box must be checked and the Lessee Code must be populated.
  • Make all owners lessees also, so you can use them as Gas or Oil working interest lessees.
  • The Reconciliation type should be Expensed for all owners / lessees that you are paying the tax for and Invoiced for all owners/lessees you will be invoicing.
  • The Invoice Comments are used to give this owner / lessee a customized message on the Invoice summary page that only they see. A generic message for all owners / lessees can be entered on the Invoice Maintenance window.
 
To Print, click the Print toolbar button or choose Print from the File menu.
